Post subject:  Getting started making money online

Ok so i wonder sometimes what really stopped me from making money online for so long and it was the plain and simple fact i just didn't know where to get started! Well i am going to make it a little easier for you guys and put together some information to getting started when making money online. I just made my daily wage this morning so i got some time to dedicate back to the community this afternoon!

Some people and i talk from experience may purchase a making money e-book of some sort read it and feel inspired but still not have the push to get something started. I know some people (admin and moderators) will disagree with this thread but as mentioned i am talking from experience and taking to a few other internet marketers, but breaking into Internet Marketing and being successful takes determination and is very hard to do.

Ok so most people are just in it for the money, now you may think that this caveat alone is enough to push on but i have to disagree..There are a few other aspects you need to consider.

No comes online to buy any old junk, people are generally looking for answers and solutions to a problem or issue. For example alarm system for the home and a Christmas tree for the month of December near Christmas. Both cover the most important human behavior for buying, firstly fear and safety secondly impulse/fashion and happiness.

So what steps can be taken to make money online..

1. You need to plan.
Brainstorm! Everything that you can think of write down and evaluate the importance and set back from these. Putting all ideas onto paper is very important as it can give you a clearer direction of where you are going.

Ask yourself some questions:
"What am I good at?"
"What am I knowledgeable with?"
"What is the gap/problem in the market?
"How do I plan on providing a solution to this?"

2. You need a website or websites.
Marketing to forums and groups is not sufficient for a long term business, you need to establish and build a website. If you have no money for a website you can always start a blog over at http://www.blogger.com

If you're looking at starting a website choose a domain name preferably with the product/keyword stuffed in the domain and remember you will need some hosting.

Now comes the part I had trouble with when I first began, creating websites! I am not a computing savvy guy and nor have i studied in this area only in my spare time and reading books but one think i am certain is anything can be learned and the more you learn the less money you have to invest for someone else to do it! So learn how to create website in the short term may take a little longer to get started but in the long term you will reap the benefits.

Remember to make sure that the website is easily navigated and also show cases the product including features/benefits of the product.

So below are some quick solutions to answers that people may be asking when searching online:
A Make Money E-Book - People are broke or want that extra money?
Train Your Dog E-Book - A undisciplined dog is a danger to you and everyone around you.
A Guide To Smart Car Buying - Learn to save gas and to save earth

Don't get me wrong..A website is not the only way you will make money online, but its just the first step i think everyone should take before approaching other avenues.

3. Patience and Consistence.
If making money online was that easy..everyone would be millionaires.
So many people quit trying once they find out they have to do a little work before they will make some money. Remember the joy of making money online is that you can automate it all when you have it sussed out. For example ebay platform reaps them millions in revenue daily but there system is pretty much automated now and its the users that make them the money using the system.

If you have a good product but are not making any money still, time to brain storm again and find out whats going on. Maybe you need to change your strategy a little bit.

Remember once you have customers you do not want them to go anywhere else, they have already spent with you so you have there trust already now you just need to keep them interested in your products. Maybe offer them the opportunity to sign up to a e-mail list that you can manage and send them product updates to. This will keep them coming back for more or at least let them know you are still there.

If you're new to internet marketing I don't recommend purchasing any products, because I guarantee you that 75% of the information you would pay for can be found freely on this forum! I know i need doing IM for some time now and i know what works and what doesn't.

Thats it for now maybe admin can sticky this for all those newbies! ;)

Hi Guys,

I've finally finished my ebook and knocked up a website with the help of a friend. Couldn't quite work out how to add metatags though, but I've gone ahead with search engine submission anyway.

Please let me know what you think of the site, address is in my signature.

Hi Lady Entrepreneur,

I love the site and i am amazed that you created the whole website and ebook yourself. I have to say if you are willing to put this much effort in to your first Internet venture then you have all motivation to go far in the near future. I know because i use to be like you at one time ;) I just wondered what other methods you are going to use to promote your website other than submitting it to Google? I am also curious to know where you are from? Here are some tips from me personally for your website. If you are not camera shy then i would suggest putting your picture at the top of your website before they start reading your sales picture. Put it on the left hand side before your sales page starts. Have a medium sized picture and don't forget to smile hahaha. This makes your sales page more personal. Also one thing that you definitely need is some testimonials from people that have brought your product. I know people may not have actually brought your product yet but it still helps the sale of your ebook if you add some false testimonials to begin with. Believe me everyone has done it at one time or another! Take a look at this website for a better understanding about testimonials. You will find them about half way down the sales page!

If you require anymore help in regards to promoting your website then please post up your questions.

Thanks and good luck!
