This is a method that I've been using for a while now and have had very good success with it. Why am i sharing it as things just got better for me and i have moved on to something else on myspace! I am surprised that no one else is doing this, maybe they are but just not shared it yet!

Ok so you will need to do the following:
1. Sign up to the myspace developers program
2. Create an application (game, money manager etc)
3. Monetize it (up to you how you do this i have used Google Adsense in the past)
4. Rinse and Repeat.

So once you have signed up on the developers program you will need to get your thinking cap on and get some ideas for the applications. I stay in the games market! I always base my ideas on recent releases of games as we can always create flash equivalent!

Remember you do not have to be a developer to use this method. Go out to any website and get the embed code for a popular flash game! The more popular the game the more users you will have playing it.

Anyway the reason i choose to work with myspace as opposed to other web 2.0 websites is that the myspace applications directory you will notice a listing page for "New Apps". Other web 2.0 websites do not have this i.e Facebook. The majority of the my game sign ups come from this. After your application is approved you will be listed on the main myspace applications homepage for at least 12 hours, usually longer. This is the exposure that you need and will get you the leads.

How you monetize is up to you. There are plenty of ways. You are allowed by myspace to advertise on the canvas pages of the applications. Google Adsense will work with a little tweaking but you do want to keep on top of the terms of conditions so you do not get into any trouble.

Let's look at my statistics. Say you have 10,000 installs on your application. I currently have 3 applications with at least 10,000 installs!!!! not hard). So the application will be on someone profile as well as there own profile which is 10,000 pages! So if each of those users gets just 10 profile views per day that is 100,000 daily impressions from one application, jeez!

Anyway easily made a total of $10,000 within 4 months with this so you do the maths and have fun. BTW i beleive this is something that Ghetto Millionaire has been doing for a while so if i am not about you can always ask him for tips on this!

Thanks diamond for pointing that out, myspace applications is something i do on and off but there is money to be made in it as diamond said and i would suggest using Google Adsense but instead of using text ads use image ads as this seems to work better an myspace users seem to like these more.

Ok about getting your application accepted it seems myspace can be pretty stringent on this so it may take more then one attempt for them to accept your application, Hope i covered some hoops there for you.

Remember here there are a lot of platforms you can build applications for and i think in all circumstances this can be monetized.

Remember that you do not need to build the applications yourself, this can all be outsourced.

i dont understand so you telling me that you get money when a person downloads a game or somthing then you get money when they click google ad's?

Yes the game can house a Google Adsense ad on the canvas with the game and this can earn you money when clicked on!
