Well looks like Microsoft have launched the new competitor to the stage of search engine bing.com. So whats new well after testing it out for a bit it is pretty simialar to that of live.com (microsoft's old search engine). So what does Bing do differently? Well a notable difference is that it gives you short preview of the contents of search results as you mouse over them, and autoplays videos and various other things. I say various other things as it seems your bing experience will differ from country to country, don't ask me why Microsoft has chosen to do this!

How useful are the search subcategories, which is supposed to be Bing;s most important feature!If you’re used to entering precise queries, such as “Macdonald's menu”, you’ll never has to use the subcategories function. But if you prefer entering a broader query such as "Macdonalds” you will get a list of subcategories such as Recipes, Menu, Franchise, Nutrition and Coupons, Bing will work great in this prospective. However please take note that these subcategories are not that much different from the search suggestions that many search engine put out anyway!

Looks to me like the Microsoft Live search engine but with a face lift, a bit like a chip shop getting new management to attract new customers. I couldn't have seen Microsoft develop this search engine differently ground up i mean come on they can't even produce the windows OS ground up anymore with the amount of additions it has had. I think that they would although not impossible find it to dam difficult.
