Back with another gem for you. This piece of software will allow you to blank the referrer. What does that mean i hear you ask?

Well lets say for example you are running a campaign with a CPA offer and for the sake of all your hard work you do not want your Affiliate Manager to know where your traffic is coming from? If he/she knows he may steal your secrets and use them for himself, their is lots of other reasons to use this software.

Anyway this software blanks the referrer by performing what is know as a Double Meta Refresh, so when your Affiliate Manager/Other checks the traffic source it will be blank!

How does the software work?

Once you open the software you will be displayed with the window above. Click the '+ Add link' button and enter your affiliate/cpa link. Please note you can enter as many links as you want here and the software will randomly select a affiliate/cpa link for your users to be re-directed to. If you just have one affiliate/cpa link then just enter one. Anyway once you have done that click the 'Make' button and choose a output for the files. I usually choose my desktop as this is a easy place to get to for me!

The software will then generate two pages ('1st.php' and '2nd.php'). What happens is you will direct your users to the '1st.php', '1st.php' will then blank the referrer and redirect to the '2nd.php'. '2nd.php' will make sure that the referrer has been blanked properly and then forward your users on to you affiliate link(s). If the referrer is not blank then '2nd.php' just takes users back to '1st.php'! Simple.

Just to add if anyone wasn't aware you need to then upload these files to a your web server and then access use the following rule to access the file http://www.domain.com/1st.php. You will if this is successful see code cycle through 2nd.php until it reaches your landing page!

i set up a website before and bought traffic to send to it and my friend made a double meta refresh...now i know why lol. But does it work in the same way as http://anonymizeit.com/?

Yes in essence it works the same as your AM manager will not know where your real traffic has come from however with http://anonymizeit.com your AM manager will see traffic source as http://anonymizeit.com. With the double meta refresh the traffic source with be blank!
