How to Make More Money Without Lots Of Traffic
The basic mentality of every marketer is to get more money by increasing traffic or by increasing the quality of the traffic. However, almost nobody thinks of increasing their income by looking at the exact opposite way: their CPA networks. Here’s how to do it, which basically translates into more money for the same work.
Step 1.
You need to know what networks are paying for the offer that you’re handling. You can go to offer vault dot com and find out who else is running that offer and what the payout is. That way, you’ll have a better knowledge of where you are and what you can get. If you’re the only one that has a offer, either find similar ones OR use that fact as leverage.
Step 2.
Ask for an increase of payment to your AM. Sometimes it’s just as easy as that. You can use an instant messenger service, a phone call, e-mail, skype, etc. Whatever you find most comfortable.
Step 3.
Be confident about it. You should avoid sounding either imposing or desperate. Casual is the best way. Practice with a friend first if you’re too nervous. Be direct and avoid getting into unnecessarily details. Just tell them that you would like to continue sending them traffic or increase the traffic, but “X” network has a higher payout. Tell them politely that if they match that offer, you’ll send even more traffic.
Step 4.
Realize that they need you because if you take the traffic from them, you hurt them. You don’t have to be afraid of them. They aren’t your boss. They won’t “catch” you doing or saying anything wrong. In fact, if the contact you, use that opportunity to ask for an increase, right after you answer any questions they have.
Step 5.
Show them what you can do. Send them a lot of traffic one day, enough to make them interested, then little or no traffic the next day. They will almost always call or e-mail you and you’ll be in a stronger position to negotiate.
Step 6.
Don’t limit yourself only to money. Even if you can’t get a higher payout, you can still get something, like faster or more frequent payouts. Get paid twice a month instead of the 10th of the next month, for example.
Step 7.
Be reasonable. The purpose of step 1 is so that you can ask for something you know you can get. Avoid haggling if possible. As long as you know that what you’re asking is reasonable, you shouldn’t be negotiating up and down. And of course, if you ask for increases of 500% of what you’re currently getting, you’ll just be making a fool of yourself.
That’s it. Good luck everyone
